Aged for 6 months in French oak, one year in storage and 6 months in bottle.
Tasting Notes:
It has a ruby violet colour, highlighting the vivacity of a young wine. The nose is dominated by aromas of ripe red fruits and spices. In the mouth, the fruity profile is noticeable, with notes of acorn and some toast, giving it a complex and exuberant profile, firm but round tannins, it presents a freshness and balanced acidity, dense, full-bodied and a persistent finish, resulting in an elegant, attractive wine with a notable gastronomic appeal.
Gastronomy:
A good accompaniment to tapas of fatty sausages and intense cheeses and a perfect combination for typical Portuguese cuisine, game meats, feijoada and cozido à Portuguesa.
